Head Barrefly, Founder Barreflies
Level 3 Pilates Matwork (2010)
Pre- and Post- Natal Exercise (2013)
BarreConcept® (2016)
Slings Myofascial Practitioner (ongoing)
Sports Massage Diploma (2022)
Amanda has been teaching Pilates for 13 years. She was first introduced to Pilates as a way to combat chronic insomnia. She found the practice helped her to focus, feel strong and centred. With a lot going on in life she found it relaxing and it even cured her of her sleepless nights. Her belief that self-care is critical to injury recovery, health, and wellbeing is central to her Pilates practice.

Working through her gym instructor course and then on to professional Pilates practice Amanda opened her first studio in Norwich in 2010, before moving to Brighton to establish Barreflies (formerly Barre Studio Brighton) the city's first dedicated Barre and Pilates Studio.

Between 2019 and 2022 Amanda advanced her professional training to include Anatomy Trains in Motion (ATiM), and Slings Myofascial Training, and continued to help her clients with Zoom pilates classes throughout the Covid Pandemic. Since having her second child in January this year she is re-opening Barreflies Studio and welcoming her clients back to class.
