Myofascial training recognises the synergy of muscles and fascia. Through carefully planned movement sequences myofascial techniques address postural imbalances. Amanda combines multidirectional movements - namely stabilising, toning, pushing, pulling, counter-traction, active lengthening and expansion - to promote versatile muscle conditioning. The result? Fascia is more resilient, joint alignment is optimal and core strength and core stabilisation are well-balanced.

BarreConcept® (125-135bpm)

Improve your fitness by repatterning contemporary workout styles through fascial adaptations. Enjoy a range of low impact exercise-to-music workouts that incorporate the grace of ballet and alignment of yoga with the finesse of Pilates. Includes a short matwork section to focus on upper body (deep core-abdominals and/ or arm lines). Best if you would prefer to focus on technique.

Pilates & Fascia Flow (no music)

Give Pilates another chance! Have you lost interest in your usual Pilates matwork routine? Recognising the synergy of muscles and fascia (our largest sensory organ) .  Barre movements (plie, releve, battements and retire combinations) are adapted for the mat and are combined with contemporary Pilates sequences. These exercises strengthen in all kinds of ways: active and relaxed lengthening with consciously releasing muscles. The movements are multidirectional and the results are boundless.

Cardio Barre (135-145bpm)

Primarily the same focus as the BarreConcept® workout, however the cardio format involves longer sections of barre choreography and more isometric contractions to raise the heart rate. Expect an energetic 45minute express format - longer format (55mins) includes a short matwork section.
